Jambalaya

A classic Jambalaya recipe featuring chicken, shrimp, and sausage.
Directions
  • Sear the sausage in a heavy wide skillet on medium heat.
  • Add the chicken and brown. There should be a decent amount of fond built up.
  • Add the onion, celery, and bell pepper to soften, adding a dash of water and scraping to loosen the fond.
  • Add the seasoning and rice and mix to combine.
  • Add shrimp, chicken stock, and water and simmer until rice is almost done and shrimp is cooked through. Let sit for 10 minutes for the rice to continue steaming then serve.
